Stan lee was born Stan Leiber to Romanian Immigrants Celia and Jack Leiber. Stan shortened his name to Stan 'Lee' as a writer. Stan started his job life at Timely comics starting out as a office assistant before he became a interim editor of Timely Comics. Stan also served as a writer and illustrator during the Second world war. Stan co-created characters such as the Fantastic Four, The Hulk, SpiderMan and many others during the silver age of comics alongside Jack Kirby.
Stan Lee lost his wife of 70 years in July 2017. He would then go on to scare his fans with him being admitted to hospital for an irregular heartbeat and a lack of breath but he was shortly dismissed by the hospital staff. After he was discharged he continued with the latest marvel blockbuster 'Black Panther'. Stan enjoyed his many cameos in the marvel blockbusters of the age appearing in all of them up until his death in in November 2018. The comic world greived for the loss of a titan of the comic industry. Stan Lee passed away due to cardiac arrest with respiratory failure and congestive heart failure.
